The concepts are all quite simple, and the probability that goes in is actually not that complicated. It's something that you can do just with the very basic probability identities. Once you start getting to the nitty gritty, they're just as complicated as each other. Bayesian thinking is how we naturally think that there's another XKCD comic that says, you know, here's a neutrino detector. If it gets two sixes, it lies to us.
