Are Fiberglass Jackets Really Durable?
We tend to think of structural products we use as really durable to the environment. Especially concrete, is far of us able to mater f r p the durability and especially the life span of a concrete structure. The earliest fibe glass jackets that we've installed in the bay, on the east coast were probably in the eighties, early eighties,. So those er fiber glass jackets are still existing right now. We have some jackets that were in installed in northern canada in icye s, that about forty years ago, that are stillexisting right now. O, we undergo those type of testing. I think they require three thousand hours. Then caltrans has ten thousand hour requirements.
