The Theory of Quantum Mechanics
Helgoland is a small island in the northern seas, but north of germany. It was where physicist Werner heisenberg went to explore his theory and thus changed how we approach quantum physics. The book opens with a description of youngve verne heisenberg, who has spent the night computing. He says, it's an incredible emotion, having ah for the first time, the first person in humankind seeing something more deep about about reality.
