The Importance of Imagination

Rene Dyer: I'm always grateful for the people who say I can't do something because it just seems to bolster me up and make me even stronger inside. Thoreau at Walden Pond in his essay on the necessity of civil disobedience said that if you advance confidently in the direction of your own dreams, you will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. Einstein imagination is more important than knowledge for knowledge is limited to all we know now and understand while imagination embraces the entire world. Rilke says "the things we could experience are lost to us banished by our failures to just imagine them"
