The author of a new book on visualizing data shares his top three tips. The first tip is to simplify and declutter the second would be focus attention so be clear about where you want your audience to look in what you're showing and take steps to focus their attention there often the easiest way to do so is through color if you do things in grayscale or black and white, use color sparingly and strategically just on the most important thing it directs attention there very quickly. Third tip would be your use of words use words I think sometimes when we think about visualizing data there's this misconception that it should all be numbers and pictures but we need words to make those numbers and
