I think I'm very well positioned to answer this question as a national media member and as a Kings fan because Kings fans have spent the last year just dunking on JJ Redick for calling the trade malpractice. It was sort of hard to make any other case they didn't rely on a certain amount of faith because you know if you look at the stylistic direction the NBA is going it's spread pick and roll five out. And then Sabonis as a big man who neither shoots threes nor block shots it's sort of like it's hard to envision a good defense being built around him.
