The Problem With Platforms Like Ticktock
The problem with platforms like tiktock is that they don't give you agency over what you consume. Once we liked one of those vidios, our for u of the recommended vidios feed was flooded with mesogenistic, homophobic and races content. These are algarythmically driven, there mathematically driven, platforms that decide for you, to a great extent, what you see in what you conseal. And whilst this content lingers on the web, the moor will see it and potentially be influenced by it. Yet this alternative viewpoint its it can be quite attractive.
