The Importance of Sleep

In the Psalm, God gives sleep to his beloved while they're asleep. "God invented us with the need of sleep as a parable," he says. The Bible doesn't tell us why, but I've got an idea: It's because we are so frail that you have to become helpless and unconscious and blind every day or you can live in that humiliating and humbling.
