Nelson Lichtenstein is the author or editor of 18 books and research professor in the Department of History at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His book co-authored with the late historian Judith Stein will be published by Princeton University Press in September. He says he thinks it's a mistake to police the boundaries of labor history because it takes on many different questions.
