The Demolished School in Leeds
My school almost symbolically while I was writing the play was gradually being demolished. If it had been allowed to stand I think in ten years time would have been listed but they pulled it down and built a new school in front of it. Well actually it's about the relationship between the teachers and the boys in the play. The Hector the the charismatic school master gives girls lifts on motorbikes which relates to my own personal experience when I used to hitchhike everywhere as a 17-year-old.
