Is Safety Climate a Bug or a Factor?
Memories and experiences are quite strong, strongly influenced how we how we think about the world. So i know we work with a lot of organizations who can recall in great detail even a lost time injury that might have happened 12 months ago. David: I did find it surprising when i first realized it talking to some companies just how powerful some of these story s of past injuries could be. No one whom i'm talking to was even in the company at the time the injury occurred. But the incident and its causation and the response and how the regulator dealt with it are still having a big impact on how people think about and practise safety many years later.
