Clop Demands to Negotiate Ransoms
Reports say clop has issued demands to negotiate ransoms to potentially hundreds of victims. The ransomware group in an uncharacteristic move gave a June 14 deadline for victims to contact the attackers. This change of tactics could be due to the unusually large amount of data stolen by the group. According to research from Croll, clop could have discovered the move at zero-day exploit as long as 2021.
