The Fed Doesn't Control Mortgage Rates

Mortgage Bankers Association expects rates to end in 2023 at around 5.4%. Most mark Zandy expects rates to fall modestly to 6.5%. Rick Sharga of Adam Data sees rates peeking around 8%, then falling to below 6% by the end of 2023. Logan Motoshami thinks it's feasible that mortgage rates will come down next year.
