I got fired in February and by May 1st 2013 I opened up subleasing a 900 square foot spot I was paying $400 a month to rent this back room. Within my first year I had signed up 65 members at it's anywhere between 60-100 dollars a month depending on what their commitment level was with two days three days unlimited. After that first year the gym owner wanted to raise my rent for this little dusty back room to a thousand dollars so we found a spot of our own a couple miles away in a little strip mall 2,500 square feet including the office and bathrooms and closet storage.
