The Lake Effect Storm Is Coming Across the Northeast
The storm is already being blamed for at least two deaths, and there are reports of a partial building collapse just south of Buffalo. Eleven New York counties remain under a state of emergency. Stretches of several highways in western New York were closed this afternoon to shelter in place. Below normal temperatures are forecast from the Pacific Northwest to the East Coast and as far south as Texas.
