The first date at which people would start to really get quite frustrated about the speakership battle is actually a week from today. The Committee on House Administration has said that basically if the House is not organized by Friday, people who work for congressional committees cannot be paid. "If you do it for three years, the civilization ends," says CNN's John Sutter.
