The Different Living Conditions in Auschwitz
Some people say that Auschwitz I was this concentration camp created for Poles and then Birkenau is this camp that was established for the Jews, which is of course false. But when we look at the living conditions in the camp, in its development, do we see differences of the conditions for Polish and Jewish prisoners? Or there are the same with tiny differences depending on the place where people were kept in the whole camp system? All these parts of the Auschwitz camp constitute one unit. And every single prisoner, whether it was in the Auschwitz I or in one of the sub camps, was subjected to identical regulations. The living conditions were very similar.
