The Senate's Check on Power
The Senate was supposed to be the check on the big government people that would hurt the states. Congress gave away their right to the budget, which is their check on power. The administration now makes all of the laws and sets the spending. If the administrative state is strong enough, it doesn't matter who the president is. And we're not supposed to question anything because the administrative state has been filled with experts.
