Is There a Way to Cut Social Security?

I don't think there'll be any meaningful political action until we get into a crisis point. And at that point in time, who knows what happens? Could tax rights change? Of course they could. But again, I think that if they changed, they would be fairly short-term in change. These forms of welfare programs build an expectation into people's lives that relieves them of personal responsibility.
