The Evolution of the Population Genetics of the Chernobyl Disaster
The Chernobyl Dog Research Initiative was formed in 2017 as the dog population got big. The dogs were preserved, you know, so they were sampled some time ago. Some of them are from one clinic, which is inside the industrial areas of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Current human population, I guess, in Chernobyl city is something like a little under 500.
