The New York Times Coverage on Science Is Too Broad

i was hooked by karl pauper's essay conjectures and refutations, the first essay in his book. Pauper thought that you solved the demarcation problem by saying that science was not based on induction, it was based on deduction. But there are a lot of things that happen in scientific practice that don't look like that. He spent the rest of his career defending himself against ankle biters like me who were criticizing his theory. And so i wrote him when i was undergraduate to get paper's attention. That's how i made it.
