The Poisonous Insecticide Cyclon B
Auschwitz's deputy commandant came up with the idea of using a poisonous insecticide called cyclon B to kill people. They then started experimenting with killing still Soviet prisoners of war there. Then once that begins to happen towards the end of 1941, they go, ah, we've got some Jewish workers in the local area. Just take them in and kill them. That's the first use of a gas chamber dedicated to kill Jews at Auschwitz. Can you tell us what happened at this vonzi conference?
