The Myth of Ukrainian Speaking People
In Ukraine, it's not like the people that are usually described as the Russian speaking minority, whatever that means. That's the myth because pretty much what happens in Ukraine is bilingual. Even if you come from a very sort of Ukrainian, proudly Ukrainian speaking family, you still probably know Russian. The reality is that a lot of families speak both Ukrainian and Russian. They hold conversations in two languages.
