The Importance of Trust in Human Performance

A lot of the companies that you point to as kind of leaders in this area, Google and Zappos are pretty rigorous when it comes to recruiting. And so they can have a management style that is much more trusting which is a much better place to work than it was during the Vietnam War. I think what I think about trust, about human performance, is employees want it and organizations benefit from it. So where humans are gonna flourish and we're gonna survive is on that creative work, on doing stuff that gross passion requires waking up.
