The Rise and Fall of Asylum Ambuskad
The group appears to be monetizing compromises that took place in late May by posting stolen data to its leak site. Asylum Ambuskad has been running cyber espionage campaigns since at least 2020. Whose hiring them is unclear and ESET offers no speculation, but Info Security Magazine notes some coincidences that suggest circumstantially that Pyongyang may be a client.
