Outer space is really big. It's so vast that we have to speak in terms of light years, or how far light ves in one year. The number of celestial bodies that we can't see is increasing. Eventually, everything will be so far apart that not even the light from other objects will reach us. That means that scientists, trillions of years from now, will have no evidence of the big bang, dark matter or dark energy,. Or the expansion of the universe.
