Sera vinsky interviewed film maker nina gilden seve at the saint louis international film festival. Nina is a professor at george washington university and founder of the documentary center. Her new project, a podcast called my fugitive, is more personal. It tells the story of her father, prominent civil rights attorney,. lewis gildon, and his client, howard mechanic who fled saint louis and went on the lamb. Mechanic eventually became the second longest fugitive in American history.
