Tensions between United States' allies Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates seem to be ratcheting up with the central problem being Yemen. The two countries are supporting different factions in Yemen with the Saudis backing the recognized government, and the UAE supporting the separatist Southern Transitional Council (STC). It is coming at a time that complicates U.S. goals in the the region, and fractures a unified front against shared enemies like Iran and their proxies.
FOX’s Eben Brown speaks with Mark Dubowitz, CEO of the Foundation of the Defense of Democracies, who says the Trump Administration has to get more involved between the two countries before a major conflict breaks out.
