How to Make a Great Mix

If you have a pop song and it takes 55 seconds before you hear the vocal, trow is probably too long. Tighten that frickan intro up. Make your intro different than the verse. Don't just start off with the verse groove. Go along for eight or 16 bars, and then the guy starts singing. Do not do that. So, an intro that's short and interesting and creates a transition that drops you into the verse. And there's you have a moment of contrast almost right away n the song.
