Can We Cross an Energy Barrier?
Life is about chemistry, and chemistry happens quickly or it doesn't happen at all. We don't really have a feel for time in biology. So my feeling is that it had to happen,. at least producing organics, had to happen quickly an on a large scale. And any system which doing that is getting you into the right ball park. Because then the difficult parts come. The difficult parts are related to self organization of matter.
