Is Brazil a Good Place to Start?
The message figures suggest your hunger rate, if I can put it that way, is around 16%. At the same time, as you have rising national debt and a hole in your annual budget, which Lula is desperately trying to fill. That's not a very easy place to start if you're going to have another poverty eradication campaign. Brazil became one of the most prosperous economies in the G20, and hunger was abolished. And I think we had a confidence on that. We are not living in a static world. It's dynamic."
