The Ruler as Tyrannical Leader

How do we deal with tyrannical leadership? If there are any examples from history that come to mind, i think that would help as well for just kind of conceptualizing in in particular examples. I'm going to read another quote that. Says, the ruler as tyrant, is akin to a foreign invader. And just as a people can violently repel aforeign invader, so too, and in the same way, can they repel or depose a tyrant. But you're not obligated to obey that command, because he's not ordering you as a civil ruler, but as just a man.
