E blacker was a term that we adopted to signify unity across ethnicties and nationalities. And sisters was very much ar er, a feminist e term, born out of our our emergence from a wider feminist movement. So we were radical, i our front, you know, in n what it is that we were seeking to do within the community. We wanted to challenge comta norms and values, patriarchal status quo, and also challenge a racism that was rife in the seventies and eighties.
