The Keys to Data Storytelling
The first key is the audience. If you're creating a data story, you've got to think, who is my audience and what do they need to know? And often that's easier said than done because we've got to get the right data in front of our audiences. Then the second key is the data. We've got to make every single decision from media to the metrics we choose through the design process. But more later on this week when I talk about how technology can be used to help people tell their stories.
