Is Holocaust Education the Answer to the World's Problems?
The rise of right-wing populism and nationalism across the world tells us that teaching people kids about the Holocaust at school is not going to be the answer to our problems says Dan Stone. If broader socio-economic conditions are poor I think Holocaust education will go out the window, he adds. There is some evidence that those who have Holocaust education talk about themselves as being better tooled up if you like for dealing with prejudice and xenophobia but that's self-reporting according to Daniel Kramer Arden.
