Are You Making Money Off of These Streaming Services?
For a long time, Netflix benefited from kind of the dominant paradigm in tech investing. Wall Street loved to invest in businesses that were losing money as long as they were gaining scale and customers. This year is the first time where all of a sudden, because of all this new competition from these other streaming services, Netflix stopped growing. They actually lost customers this year for the first time and forever.
