The Advantages of General Anesthesia in Surgery

The targeting of the tumor, especially with CT-GON, it's just so much easier with anesthesia. Having the patient's intubated to be able to control their breathing has been so helpful in that respect. I feel a lot more comfortable having those patients monitored by an anesthesiologist because if they were that sick that they couldn't get intubated, then they probably require a higher level of monitoring during their sedation than what I can probably provide.
