The Importance of Surah

Some modern scholars say that this reference in surah is to a future event and not a past one. The first expulsion took place in 587 B.C. before the Christian era. Nebuchadnezzar surrounded Jerusalem and for the first time in the history of the Jewish empire destroyed the Heikal of Suleiman, which was considered to be one of the wonders of the world.
