Russian central bank announced on sunday that some of the country's bank plans to issue cards using union pay, a chinese card operating system. Visa and master card suspended its operations in the country over its invasion of ukraine. Credit cards issued by russian banks using visa and master card payment systems will also stop functioning oversea after march ninth. According to routers, union pay is a chinese system that is enabled in a hundred and 80 countries, and specializes in providing cross border payment services.
