Is the Null Hypothesis Real?

i always think of the methodology, right, of hypothesis testing. We try to set up a test which goes contrary to our assumptions,. In other words, the burden of proof is on the thing that we're trying to show. And so it seems to me that this is design to be an intellectually honest way of operating. I think that when that was published, all of a sudden people had to confront whether or not they should let their priors into the discussion.
