The Ark of the Covenant in the First Book of Kings, Chapter Eight
The ark of the covenant was brought into the temple for the first time here in first book of kings. It's notable because originally there were three things in the ark: tables of stone, manna and aaron's staff. The bible doesn't say what happened to those other two objects but it just says that they're not there now.
