Andrew Keen: What's the point of the penal system? Is punishment to deter other people? The relevant statute in New Mexico that's going to be servicing this Baldwin case says in voluntary manslaughter, consistent manslaughter committed in the commission of an unlawful act not amounting to a felony. And therefore, a reasonable person would have done what he did in that case is my guess. But I feel like I only get into these philosophical for my perspective, what I would call philosophy.
