How Decision Making Can Go Wrong
The Canadian invasion of England was a complete military disaster with almost no redeeming features. But the participants refused to be daunted, and went ahead with spirits were i have very little evidence of any demoralization. I think it's particularly true in the case of monbatton and montgomery, who played a big part in it. And is as a salutary reminder of how in war time, people get free rein to do things they would never be allowed toa peace time.
