The Early Origins of Cornwall
Cornwall was first inhabited by people as far as we know about 10,000 years ago. From the Neolithic period it seems to have been permanently settled. The oldest significant structures in Cornwall are called coits or Dolmans. They're traditionally understood as tombs, but they may be more complicated than that.
