The Future of Drug Discovery and Development

We call ourselves a fourth generation microbiome company because the way we see the world, the first generation companies were doing fecal transplant. We think there are substances found in healthy humans that have profound effects in modulating the immune system which are missing in patients with certain diseases. Many of these patients have multiple autoimmune syndrome, multiple autoimmune diseases. And so we're focused on identifying, isolating these substances and turning them into drugs that can be used to treat these patients. So it's a very big vision. It's aVery big hypothesis. And we think it's a whole new paradigm.
