The purpose of crypto is to fundamentally undermine the dollar and other fiat currencies. That suddenly means digital versus real space, which matters an awful lot. We don't see states becoming less important; there are more of them today than 10 years ago. And if you had to ask who's last institution will be standing 50 or 100 years from now, my bet would be on Facebook not state.
