What Does It Mean to Call on the Name of the Lord?
The brother of jerad was chastened by the lord for three hours. He is said to have been a good person, based on his mmercy. Some scholars say it must be prayer; others think it's something other than that. But in verse 15 he repented and called upon the name of the lord with his brethren who were with him. This could mean: You need to call upon me in a certain way so you can receive from me according to your desires.
