Misty's pants, socks and underwear were found near where Anna and Kim's remains were found. The same investigator who had gotten called out there when they found the items had actually done an unofficial search of the area just weeks before and he didn't find anything. When forensic tests were later done, they said that the pants had in fact been covered in dirt for some time,. so they wouldn't have just been placed here a couple of days or even weeks before.
