The Gifts of Imperfect Parenting
i have a daughter who wrote songs, poems and songs. i hardly ever even told her sparingly that i thought it was great. Like i was scared. Wanted it so much to be her thing, and not to encourage her to have it be competitive or perform for other people. It's true. And i think the best thing is, you know, when i always talk about, whenever i do a parentine talk or something somewhere, i always call it the gifts of imperfect parenting.
