The Importance of Hope in the Courtroom

On the day of Jesus' baptism there was a voice from heaven and the voice said, this Jesus is my beloved son and in him I am well pleased. Do you know what that means? When you stand before God in the cosmic courtroom, you have two ways to stand. The verdict is already in justified. Righteous, safe, seen and loved. That's why the Apostle Paul in Romans chapter 5 puts it this way: Since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
